Awards to CRI students @ APICS 2009


Congratulations to Heather McCracken, MSc candidate (Supervisor: Dr. Rick Cunjak CRI Fellow), received the award for best graduate student paper for a presentation entitled "MEASURING LACUSTRINE INFLUENCE ON COMPOSITION AND FUNCTION IN A STREAM COMMUNITY" given at the Atlantic Provinces Council for the Sciences (APICS) ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES CONFERENCE, held March 27-28, 2009, UNB, Fredericton.

Congratulations to Amanda Savoie, an Honours student under the co-supervision of Myriam Barbeau and Katy Haralampides (CRI Fellow), who won the best undergraduate poster award at the Atlantic Provinces Council for the Sciences (APICS) ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES CONFERENCE, held March 27-28, 2009, UNB, Fredericton. Her poster title was "Effects of density of the amphipod Corophium volutator on sediment properties on a mudflat".
