Dr. Natacha Hogan, former post-doctoral fellow with M. van den Heuvel and D. MacLatchy, has started a 3-year term position as an Assistant Professor in the Biology Department at UPEI. She has also been recently appointed as an Associate Fellow of the CRI. Her research interests centre around the physiology and aquatic toxicology of amphibians and fishes. Her work aims to better understand the mechanisms by which molecular and cellular responses contribute to contaminant effects at the organ, organism and population levels.
